Part of an on-going project, I’m fascinated with feral shopping carts and the places and situations that they find themselves in. These portraits reveal something of the personality of shopping carts outside of their natural elements, ranging far from their corrals. In the process of photographing them, I don’t move or adjust the position of the cart in any way. These photographs document the shopping carts in the exact way that they are found.
